 VEC has been giving lectures on the environment and the role of PVC at universities to assist environment education since 2005, and have since expanded the project to give lectures to high schools and junior high schools. Under the cooperation of a children’s text book publisher, VEC had published “The Frontline of Environmental Conservation” as a supplementary reader for teachers, as well as “The Workbook on the Environment” for students, and had distributed them to 29,000 schools in the past three years.
This time, VEC has collaborated with JPEC to distribute supplementary readers aimed at higher grade elementary school children to 10,000 schools, out of which more than 400 elementary schools have requested for more of these readers. VEC has also started giving lectures to elementary schools under their requests.
