COATING

PVC solution (sol) is applied to one surface of PVC film or fabric and then dried by heat to manufacture canvas cloth for large-sized tents, and hood for trucks or the connecting section of trams. The diagram on the left illustrates two examples of the coating process known as "Knife Doctor" method, which allows adjustment of thickness freely. This method is used for various gravure printing processes, in combination with the embossing (concavo-convex) technology, which provides beautiful design on the product surface.
