| Floorcoverings and Vent Pipes Using Recycled PVC Added Among Designated Procurement Items under the Law on Promoting Green Purchasing |

On February 28th, the Designated Procurement Items list for this year under the Green Procurement Law was approved at the cabinet and was announced to the public. The list contains prioritized materials and items that have low environmental burdens to be procured by the government and municipalities. 13 new items were added this time, which included PVC floorcovering and PVC vent pipes using recycled PVC.
PVC is used in various applications due to its versatility and high quality. It also saves resources and energy and prevents global warming. Along with the already certified PVC window frames, PVC drain pipes and PVC modular carpets, the recent addition of these floorcoverings and vent pipes is another formal approval of the PVC material, which is environmentally friendly. |
