At its plenary meeting on May 30th, Takahshi Tsuchiya, who is the president of Tosoh Corp., was appointed as VEC's new chairman, replacing Shigeaki Nakahara (president of Tokuyama) who fulfilled his term as chairman. The vice-chairmen are Masami Onishi (president of Kaneka Corp.) and Nobutada Maeda(president of Shin Dai-ichi Vinyl Corp). The three are to serve 2 years respectively. |
