The World Vinyl Forum III was held in Boston, USA, from September 26 to September 28. It was the first World Vinyl Forum to be held in 5 years. 265 members from 17 countries gathered, including members from industrial groups, PVC manufacturers, the academia and NGOs. The path forward for the PVC industry was advertised, including the status and forecasts of the PVC industry per region, new PVC products and construction designs, and the method to contribute to sustainable development. Japan presented themes such as how PVC parts within electrical appliances are recycled, news related to PVC products in Japan including PVC window profiles, and the fire safety of PVC upon fire incidents. |
