VECfs participation at the environment exhibition celebrating the Toyako summit

VEC made an exhibit at the gIntegrated Exhibition of the Environment in celebration of the Hokkaido Toyako Summith which was held at Sapporo Dome from June 19th to 21st. In line with the global warming issue which is one of the themes of the summit, VEC mainly introduced PVC sashes which is popular in Hokkaido, and stressed how PVC is environmentally friendly and contributes to curb global warming. Recycled PVC products, PVC products labelled with Eco Marks and the state of the art PVC sashes which are commonly used in Hokkaido were exhibited. Thereafter, with the tagline gPVC sashes contributes to the health of house dwellers and curbs global warmingh, VEC has been aiming to expand the PVC sash market southwards from Hokkaido by combining the heat insulating technology fostered in Hokkaido where the climate is cold, and the heat shielding technologies developed in areas south of Hokkaido, where heat needs to be shut out of homes during the Summer. JMADO also plans to further promote the initiative through activities such as health data by collaborating with the Sick House Syndrome Association. Approximately 330 companies and organizations made exhibits, and 60 thousand people visited the exhibition.
