The Nikkei housing reform exhibition 2008 will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight from November 20 to 23. VEC and the Plastic Windows Promotion Committee (Jmado) have teamed with the Ministry of the Environment as well as the Japan Center for Climate Change Actions (JCCCA) this year to make an exhibit along the theme of “eco-housing reforms that are friendly to the earth environment and the ecosystem”. During the period, VEC will also hold the “6th seminar on housing, the environment and energy saving” on November 22, whose theme is “encouraging eco-housing reforms for comfort” and “how to be ecological in everyday life without too much strain”. The seminar will be hosted by Yukie Sakai. Among panelists, Prof. Yuzo Sakamoto of Tokyo University and Hikaru Kobayashi of the Ministry of the Environment will be present this year also. New comers to the panel this year are actress Yu Hayami and essayist Hana.
