PVC Fractal Sunshades to be Exhibited at the gFuture Museumh

@Fractal sunshades using recycled PVC developed by Sekisui Chemical, which VEC has been endorsing through our recycling subsidy system, is to be installed as an exhibit at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (nickname: Miraikan, meaning gfuture museumh) located at the Odaiba waterfront district in Tokyo.
@Tricolored injection molded fractal units using 100% PVC wastes including downspouts, window frames, pipes and fittings were assembled to make the sunshade. One can enjoy the cool comfort and breeze of a leafy shade under it during the hot summertime. We are hoping that the research and development would progress even further, to promote the spread of PVC recycling.

@ Installation date: June 23, 2009
Exhibit during: June 24 - August 31
Area: 250 sq meters
