| PVC Sidings Highly Publicized in Okinawa |

A study on PVC sidings has drawn attention as one of measures against salt damages in Okinawa where there are many reinforced concrete houses. A weekly housing magazine “Kafuu” reported that Siding Promotion Committee and University of the Ryukyus have jointly conducted PVC sidings exposure test against salt attack. The magazine is published by “Ryukyu Shimpou,” one of major Okinawan newspapers issuing 200,000 copies in the region.
The test results will be released in academic seminars.
