| JIS for PVC-U Sash to be Established |

A standard for “Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) profiles for fabrication of windows and doors,” was noticed in an official journal on April 20, 2010 and became in effective the same day. Its standard number is JIS A 5558. The draft was worked out by Plastic Sash Industrial Association in cooperation with VEC. This will allow PVC sash to be described as standard items, not as special items, in common specification including “public building work standard specification.” PVC sash might be spread even faster.
