| “PVC Monozukuri Contest” To Be Held |
|
Aiming at a revitalization of PVC industry, “PVC Monozukuri (manufacturing) Contest” will be held. This contest for designs of products made of flexible PVC is hosted by VEC, Japan Vinyl Goods Manufacturers Association, Japan Vinyl Trade Association, East Japan/ Central Japan/ West Japan Plastic Manufacture Co-operative Association, cooperated by Kyushu Vinyl Products Industrial Association, and sponsored by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (not yet determined), Japan Industrial Designer's Association (JIDA Japan). Applications for the contest started on October 20, 2010. The results will be released in next June, and the award-winning products will be publicized. We are looking forward to a lot of participations of fabulous and marvelous idea and articles making full use of the characteristics of flexible PVC materials to our award competition.
