“PVC Design Award 2012” is an event developed from “the PVC Monozukuri Contest 2011” which was held to vitalize the PVC industry last year. This year, 242 pieces in “works” from the general public and “products” from companies/organizations of PVC products were received. The final selection was made on the 8 works that have passed the first selection and was manufactured experimentally by member companies of the Award's organizer and on the 10 products that have passed the first selection. The results of final selection, presentation ceremony and a celebration party take place on November 27, 2012 at Club House Josui Kaikan in Takebashi, Tokyo. (The results will be available on the website after the awarding ceremony.) The awarded works/products including some works which unfortunately did not receive award, with an agreement of the said applicants, will be introduced at Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
