The 2nd symposium on “Building Envelope in Environmental Era” at Ito International Research Center of the University of Tokyo on November 22, 2013. The symposium had Dr. Yuzo Sakamoto, Chief Executive of Building Research Institute (BRI), as the coordinator, and Dr. Hirotaka Suzuki, Director of Environmental Engineering Div. of Hokkaido Research Organization Northern Regional Building Research Institute, as one of the main speakers.
The event had nearly 300 people from housing manufacturers, construction companies, designers and material manufacturers for such as windows and heat insulators. The symposium was highly successful, having some lectures, a panel discussion and Q&A session.
