| VEC to Exhibit at “2014 Environment Festival - Try with Children” for the 6th Straight Year |

“Environment Festival - Try with Children,” hosted by Chuo-ku Kankyo Hozen Network, is to be held on October 11, 2014 at Tsukishima Daiichi Elementary School in Tokyo. This event is becoming a pillar of experience-learning type activities for the next generation which aim at further understanding of environment issues for children and the local residents. In 2012, the Network won Tokyo Council of Social Welfare Chairman's Prize.

In 2009, VEC took part in the event under the theme of “Let's Play with Plastics” for the first time in collaboration with the NPO “GENKI Network for Sustainability.” Since then, we have participated in this event every year. We have received favorable comments that even children can learn interestingly and understand easily plastics.
This year, we are planning to provide the chance to experience some merits of PVC products by using “Ori-Bi (literally means Folding Beauty).” This is one of PVC Design Award-winning works in 2012 and also popular in the exhibition at Origami Kaikan (folding papers hall).
