| Report of Symposium “Renovation for Heat Insulation in Existing Buildings” |

The 3rd symposium on “Building Envelope in Environmental Era” took place at Ito International Research Center of the University of Tokyo on November 20, 2014. Dr. Yuzo Sakamoto, Chief Executive of the Building Research Institute (BRI) and Mr. Yuzo Minami, a house technology commentator, moderated the event.
Following some presentations, panel discussion and Q&A were successfully provided. We had nearly 300 participants from home builders, construction companies, architects, manufacturers of chemical or raw materials for windows/heat insulators, and household equipment manufacturers.
