| PVC Design Award 2015 (PVC Monozukuri Contest 2015) to Launch |

The 5th PVC Design Award 2015 is held under the theme of “Safety, Security and Comfortableness.” We are expecting ideas or design which are created through the observation of our life, development of a region or a town, aging society, child-caring, and heated tourism heading for the Olympics. We are looking forward to your application of fresh and new ideas using flexible PVC or future design/business beyond the reach of imagination under the theme.
There are some works or products awarded in the past four contests have been commercialized. This time, in order to enable to manufacture superior products, material suppliers aggressively provide functional materials according to the theme, and product processors cooperate with designers and start product development in earlier stage. The briefing for designers will be held around one month earlier than last year, as described below.
