| PVC Design Award 2015: Exhibition in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka |

The Award Exhibition took place on 19 and 20 of November, 2015 at AXIS Gallery “Symposia” (Roppongi, Tokyo). After that, the event was held in Mercato Hall of Osaka on 25 and 26 of January, in Nagoya head office of Sankyo Kasei Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Nagoya, Aichi) on 28 of January, and in Acros Fukuoka (Fukuoka) on 2nd of February, 2016. There were a total of 350 people including designers and the concerned people from the host organizations. This year also, the event finished a success.
Miho Utsumi, Counsellor of Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (Kansai-METI), visited the Osaka exhibit and Yoshio Kishimoto, Director-General of Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry (Kyushu-METI), visited to the Fukuoka exhibit. They carefully look around the exhibits such as grand prix winners (tetra server, food wrap film - blue type) and other emergency supplies and miscellaneous daily articles. Their interests were shown to a variety of applications where the performance of PVC has been utilized.
These years, some objects out of the prize winners have been commercialized. This year also, “Tetra Server” and “Door Cube,” which are the grand prix winning objects, have just started to be checked and improved towards the commercialization. The business development has been expected.
