Many people might think that PVC windows are required especially in the cold weather region, such as Hokkaido and Kanto and northward regions. However, the necessity of heat-insulated housing and saving-energy housing is not only in such regions. Energy saving division for Fukuoka is the same as that for Tokyo and Osaka, even it is located in Kyushu region. The impact of thermal environment on health has no difference in between Fukuoka and Tokyo. Also, the number of cases of thermal shock by the elderly is surprisingly higher in western Japan. Kagawa prefecture became the top in the 2013 survey. Based on this survey, this seminar took place in Fukuoka and Takamatsu this year. VEC will work for the promotion of PVC windows as a nationwide activity.
