| Symposium on Sustainability and Superiority of Buildings （in Tokyo University） |

VEC is going to hold a “Symposium on Sustainability and Superiority of Buildings toward the 2050 Targets” at Ito International Research Center (Ito Hall) of the University of Tokyo on November 18, 2016.
Dr. Hiroshi Komiyama, Chairman of Mitsubishi Research Institute and the 28th President of the University of Tokyo, acts as a coordinator for this symposium. Through the presentation by specialists, the vision for the future of Japanese buildings, including the existing buildings as well as newly constructions, is suggested from the viewpoints of sustainability and superiority (energy saving). Then, a panel discussion will take place on the measures for the realization of “ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building)” and “ZEH (Net Zero Energy House),” which are one of the directions to be aimed in future.
