The final results of “PVC Design Award 2016” started on April 20 were announced. One item won the grand prize, 2 pieces received the excellence prize, 7 pieces received a prize, and 3 pieces received the encouragement prize. The final selection was made among 89 pieces in total, which included the 59 “product” applications and the 30 prototypes passing the first selection among 256 “design proposals”. On November 25, the awarding ceremony at Conference Square of Marunouchi Bldg. (8F, Room 4), and a celebration party in another venue were held. (The results) The exhibition focusing on the 2016 prize-winning pieces is now being held in Tokyo. It will also take place in Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka next year.
