The Sustainability Forum organized by the recycling program of PVC products in Europe, VinylPlus, is going to be held in Berlin, Germany, on May 10 and 11, 2017. The expected presenters are PVC institutions in Japan, the United States, Europe, and Brazil, and the related organizations promoting recycling in the fields of medical, pipes and fittings, and electric wires in Europe. In addition, some presentations and discussions with government officials are scheduled. The agenda includes efforts towards a recycling-based society in European plastic field, chemical regulations, and eco-design. It is expected that some great possibilities of PVC products in the recycling-oriented society that Europe aims for are provided along with practical cases, and that discussions will be actively made on the issues to elicit the potentials.
